In an effort to improve the management of international students’ affairs, put to use the abilities of students, and to create a developed platform for the communication of Chinese and foreign students, the School of International Education within Dalian University of Technology is seeking students willing to assist in the office. The specific application procedure is as follows:
1.Applicants
Students within campus enrolled in Masters or PhD programs (fourth year Bachelor’s students already enrolled as future graduate students are also welcome) that are not currently involved in assisting college faculty are wanted.
2.Requirements
a)You must be able to work no less than 8 hours per week (two half-days or more);
b)You must have good study habits and grades, and not have failed any classes; you must have an English level proficient enough to meet the needs of day-to-day communication without difficulty; those who are proficient in additional languages will be considered as a priority;
c)You must exhibit good moral behavior and judgement, an active interest in advancing yourself, and a cooperative attitude; these qualities are of utmost importance;
d)You must exhibit diligence in work, a willingness to overcome difficult assignments, a responsible attitude for duty, and the ability to fulfill all requirements of your post;
e)You must be familiar with related software used in the office;
f)You must be willing to communicate with foreign students.
3.Work Duties
a)Assist the teachers in accomplishing work related to daily student affairs;
b)Complete any other assignments asked of you by the teachers.
