Taking the general background of Dalian City’s cultural prosperity, economic development, and educational progress as a main line, we encourage international students to show the beautiful Dalian through photographic works using the exquisite lens language and the unique visual perspective. Through this activity, the international students from various countries can pay more attention to, understand, and love their second hometown.

Works Requirements:
Shooting contents: Taking the general background of Dalian City’s cultural prosperity, economic development, and educational progress as a main line, use the photographic works to show Dalian from all directions and fields, show the intersection and blending of various cultures in Dalian, and show the historical origins, great beauty, places of interest, folk customs, news figures, campus cultures of Dalian.
1.Works taken with single lens reflex camera, mirrorless camera and mobile phone can enter the contest.
2.The form and style of works are unlimited. Both colored and black-and-white photos are acceptable.
3.The number of works submitted per person is limited to three. Participants need to submit the electronic copies of works and need to note: name of work, author’s name, country and current school. The format of picture is JPG file, and each work should be no less than 3MB.The collected works cannot be sent back. Please keep the original negativefilm or digital file properly.
4.The appropriate post-processing can be done on the pictures which are sent for review, provided that the original appearances of the works are not changed. But composition and other methods cannot be used to change the original appearances of works, such as splicing, deleting and modifying the photo materials. Once found, the eligibility will be canceled.
5.The participating photos must be the original photos of participants.
Participating Matters:
1.For all pictures that are sent for review, the authors have the copyright and the right of signature, and the organizer has the permanent right to use. The organizer has the right to use the works for exhibition, publicity, publishing and other purposes, and no other remuneration shall be paid.
2.Participants shall have the full, complete, exclusive copyrights and other intellectual property rights as well as individual ownership that do not infringe on the third party's portrait right and reputation right of the contributed works.
3.All contributors are deemed to agree with the above terms.
4.The original file of the work should be kept properly during the review period for the purpose of modification and application.

At the same time, the title of work, author name, country, current school, class, telephone and other information should be attached to the main body.

Award-winning Work Exhibition:
1. The award-winning works will be announced on the LED display screens and the official WeChat public platforms of various colleges and universities in Dalian.
2. The exhibition sites will be set in various colleges and universities in Dalian to support an exhibition tour.
3. The top 80 works will be incorporated into the “Award-winning Works Collection of Dalian Impression----International Student Photo Contest”.
