为表彰先进国际学生的优良学风和突出贡献，发挥优秀典型的榜样引领作用，推动国际学生们在跨文化交流方面的积极作用。现面向全校国际学生选拔2019年度“国际之星”。国际教育学院将对获奖学生给予表彰奖励。此次评选将采取学生个人申报与老师推荐相结合的方式，公平、公正、公开地进行评选。欢迎各位国际学生积极申报，具体申报要求如下：

一、申报类型

“国际之星”共设以下3类奖项：

1、学习优秀类

2019年度，在学术科研方面获得奖项或代表学校参加各类学科竞赛的学习优秀、科研成果突出的国际学生。

2、文体活动类

2019年度，在各类文体赛事、艺术创作、大型活动中表现优异、贡献突出，积极促进中外文化交流、传播正能量的国际学生。

3、志愿服务类

2019年度，积极协助学校、学院开展各项国际学生工作，热心服务同学、帮助他人，贡献突出的国际学生。

二、 申报要求

以上3类“国际之星”优秀奖仅接受个人申报，且申报者只可申报类奖项中的1项。

三、 申报时间及方式

“国际之星”申报人需完成如下网上申请和递交材料两个步骤。

1、申报依照个人报名与教师推荐相结合的方式进行，所有参评学生必须在规定时间内提交申请。网上申请需微信扫描下方二维码或点击下方链接填写个人信息。网上申报截止日期为2019年12月20日（星期五）11：00。链接：

2、网上申报完毕后，申报人需按要求填写《大连理工大学国际教育学院2019年度“国际之星”申报表》（附件1，命名为“2019国际之星—申请类别—姓名”，如“2019国际之星—学习优秀类—穆罕穆德”）。电子版发送到xsswbgs@。纸质版表格请于12月20日（星期五）中午11点前送至国际教育学院D120室。

3、“学习优秀类”申报人需在《大连理工大学国际教育学院2019年度“国际之星”申报表》纸质版材料后附学习类获奖证书复印件、成绩单、2019年度所有发表论文等证明材料。2019年度发表论文需在图书馆开取证明。“文体活动类”“志愿服务类”申报人也可提供相关获奖证书复印件并附在申报表后。申报表格、成绩单及获奖证书复印件不退，提供证书复印件的申报人需准备好原件以备审核。所有纸质材料请于12月20日（星期五）中午11点前送至国际教育学院D120室。

4、申请材料逾期不得补交、修改。逾期不能提供合格材料者，将取消其申请资格。申报信息、申报材料造假者将被取消其申请资格并进行通报批评。

Notice on Applying for International Stars of Dalian University of Technology in 2019

To commend the outstanding academic performance and outstanding contributions of advanced international students who play an exemplary roleand to promote the positive role of international students in cross-cultural communication, the International Stars of 2019 are being selected from international students of the university. The selection will be based on a combination of individual student applications and teachers’ recommendations, and will be conducted in a fair, just and open manner. International students are welcome to apply actively. Application details are as follows:

I. Award Types

"International Star"award is divided into three types:

1. Outstanding academic performance

In 2019, international students who have won awards in academic research or represented schools in participating in various discipline competitions with outstandingachievements can apply for this type of award.

2. Outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities

In 2019, international students who have performed well in various cultural and sports events, artistic creations, and significant events, and made outstanding contributions, as well as actively promoted Chinese and foreign cultural exchanges with positive energy can apply for this type of award.

3. Outstanding performance in volunteer work

In 2019, international students who actively assisted the school in carrying out various international student work, enthusiastically served the students, helping and contributing greatly can apply for this type of award .

ll. How and when to apply

1．The above three types of "International Star" awardonly acceptindividual application, and each applicant can only applyfor one type of the award.

2．All applicants need to complete the following two steps of online application and submission of materials.

Assessment on applications is based on the combination of submitted materials andrecommendation. All participating students must submit their applications within the prescribed time. III. Important note

1. After completing the online application, the applicants must fill out the "International Star" 2019 Application Form in the attachment with a doc file named "2019 International Star-Application type-Name", such as " 2019 International Star-Outstanding academic performance-Muhammad "). Electronic version needs to be sent to xsswbgs@ The paper form should be sent to Room D120, School of International Educationbefore 11am December 20 (Friday).

2. Applications for the Outstanding academic performance must attach copies of awards for academic studies, transcripts, and all published papers in 2019 to the paper version of the "International Star" Application Form. Publication of papers in 2019 requires a certificate from the library. Outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities and Outstanding performance in volunteer work applicants can provide a copy of the relevant award certificate and attach it to the application form. Application forms, transcripts and award certificates are non-returnable. Applicants who provide copies of certificates must prepare the originals for review. All paper materials should be delivered to Room D120 of School of International Education before 11am on Friday, December 20.

3. Application materials cannot be submitted or modified after the deadline. Those who fail to provide qualified materials after the deadline will be disqualified. Those who apply with false information or materials will be disqualified from the application and criticized in a circulated notice.
