同学们：国庆假期将至，为使同学们度过一个安全、快乐的国庆假期，特作安全提示如下：
Dear international students: The National Day is coming soon. We hope you all have a safe, happy and peaceful holiday! We offer the following safety tips to be observed during the holiday.
1、遵守中华人民共和国法律法规，遵守大连理工大学学校规定以及国际教育学院相关规定。
Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, the provisions of Dalian University of Technology and all relevant provisions of the School of International Education.
2、不酗酒，不扰民，不滋事，不去酒吧聚众喝酒。
Do not drink alcohol in excess and do not disturb others. Do not frequent bars.
3、外出时注意随身携带护照。
Carry your passport with you when you go out.
4、签证、居留许可证请及时延期。
Please extend your visa or residence permit before it expires.
5、书包永远也不可能帮你看住位置，当你离开时，不仅位置可能被人占用，你留在书包中的手机或其他贵重物品也会被人轻易“拿走”。
Do not use your personal belongings to claim a seat in public spaces, as your possessions may be taken.
6、足球场边、篮球架下、看台座椅旁，不是保管物品的储物箱，大家应看管好私人物品，别让我们的球场成为小偷的天堂。
Remember to keep your personal belongings safe when you go to basketball courts or football fields, and don’t create any possibility for your things to be stolen.
7、注意防火、防盗，离开房间时要切断电源、关闭水阀，关好窗户，锁好房门。
Please observe the rules of fire prevention and anti-theft, and make sure you turn the electricity off, turn off the water supply, and shut the windows and lock the door before leaving your room.
8、居住校外的同学请安全使用天然气等各类燃料。
If you live off campus, be careful while using the natural gas burners in your apartment.
9、严禁吸食大麻、海洛因等毒品。
Do not possess or use any illegal drugs like marijuana, heroine, etc.
10、不要轻易相信中奖短信，千万不要让一时的贪欲造成自身的财产损失。
If you receive a message saying you have won a prize, do not respond to it, as it is likely a scam message.
11、非必要不离校、离连。如确有必要离连，必须提前向辅导员老师请假，返回校园时需要提供七日内核酸检测阴性证明。出校后不参与大型室内集体活动、不出入人员密集的密闭场所、不进行有关任何危险的活动、离校后时刻做好防护，尽量缩短在校外停留时间。外出时要遵守交通规则，文明出行，文明过马路；不独自搭乘黑摩的、黑出租；不购买、不骑行、不乘坐无牌无证的两轮摩托、电动（燃油）三轮摩托车和电动自行车等。
Do not leave campus or Dalian unless necessary reason. Must contact your advisor in advance to ask for a leave before you leave Dalian, and must provide NAT negative report(within 7 days) when return to campus. Should not participate in collective activities, enter crowded confined spaces or carry out any dangerous activities, and I should do well personal protection after leaving campus. Return to campus as soon as possible after handling necessary matters. Obey all traffic rules when traveling and crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis alone. Do not buy, ride, or take unlicensed motorcycles.
12、留校同学须严格遵守宿舍管理规定，严禁使用危险电器及明火等。
Students who are going to stay on campus should abide by the dorm regulations and are not allowed to use any dangerous appliances or create any fire hazards, etc.
13、注意饮食安全，加强身体锻炼，增强体质。
Please pay attention to food safety, and get more exercises and improve your body immunity.
14、在遇到抢劫、行凶、盗窃、电子诈骗等重大事件时，请及时拨打公安报警电话110，如遇火警，请拨打电话119。
If you experience robbery, assault, theft, electronic fraud or other dangerous things, please call the police at 110. If you encounter a fire hazard, please call 119.
15、当你遇到交通事故或意外伤病需要急救时，请拨打救护电话：120。
If you encounter a traffic accident or an emergency, call 120 for first aid.
