大连理工大学2023年秋季学期国际学生开学安排

      根据学校及国际教育学院(留学生办公室)迎新工作整体安排,现将2023年秋季学期开学相关事宜通知如下:

一、注册报到

1、注册形式:全体国际学生应在规定期限内至国际教育学院完成线下报到。

2、注册时间:

(1)学历生:2023级学历生新生集中报到时间为8月31日-9月1日;其他年级在校生集中报到时间为8月27日。

(2)非学历生(汉语言进修生):8月28日-29日

      因故不能按规定注册者,须提前向国际教育学院(留学生办公室)及所在学部(学院)请假,按规定办理相关手续;两周以上无故未办理报到注册手续、请假未批准或请假逾期仍未报到注册者,学院将按学校学籍管理规定给予取消学籍处理。

3、休学、复学及请假:

      学生因病或其它特殊原因申请休学的,应及时登录“校园门户”通过“国际本科生/研究生学籍异动申请”模块申请办理休学手续。2023年春季学期休学期满仍不能复学的,需申请继续休学并办理休学手续。国际教育学院将严格各类休学审批,不再受理因疫情相关的休学申请。学籍状态为休学的学生需先办理复学手续,再进行注册。

学生因故不能在集中报到期内注册报到的,应及时登录“校园门户”通过“国际学生请假申请服务”办理请假手续。请假不得超过一个月。

二、新生报到材料

      全体国际学生新生应携带以下材料进行现场报到。

1、国际学历生须准备材料:

① 上一阶段学历认证件1份(尺寸A4)

② 上一阶段学历证书原件

③ 上一阶段成绩单复印件1份(尺寸A4)

④ 证件照片1张(尺寸:3.5*4.5cm,白底)

⑤ 护照首页复印件1份(尺寸A4)

⑥ 录取通知书原件

⑦ 录取通知书复印件1份(尺寸A4)

2、国际非学历生须准备材料:

① 证件照片1张(尺寸:3.5*4.5cm,白底)

② 护照首页复印件1份(尺寸A4)

③ 录取通知书原件

④ 录取通知书复印件1份(尺寸A4)

3、签证材料:

① 录取通知书原件

② 护照原件

③ 护照复印件:护照首页(尺寸A4)、有效签证页、最近入境章页复印件各1份

④ 近期白底二寸免冠照片1张

⑤ JW201表/202表

⑥ 六个月之内的体检报告(境外体检机构出具的报告需要在大连国际旅行卫生保健中心认证之后方可使用)

⑦ 境外人员住宿登记表(校外住宿人员需提前到住宿地派出所办理,校内住宿无需提供)

⑧签证费(400元/800元,根据学习期限决定)

三、缴费方式及注意事项

3、缴费时间:9月2日前通过线上支付或境内外汇款形式完成缴费。

四、教学安排

1、国际学历生

(1)本科生(汉语言本科专业除外):23级、22级9月4日开课(23级仅限国际教育学院开设的课程,其他课程9月18日开始上课);其他年级8月28日开课。

(2)汉语言专业本科生:23级9月4日开课,其他年级8月28日开课。

(3)研究生:9月4日开课。

2、汉语言进修生

8月29日-31日,分班考试;9月1日公布分班结果;9月4日正式开课。

 International Student Registration Arrangements for the Autumn Semester 2023

 

According to the relevant regulations of the university and the overall arrangement of the orientation work of School of International Education (International Students Office), the following matters related to the registration of the autumn semester of 2023 are hereby notified:

I. Registration

1. Form of Registration: All international students should report to the School of International Education to complete the offline registration before the deadline.

2. Registration time:

(1) Degree students: The registration period for new degree students of the Class of 2023 will be from 31 August to 1 September.

The registration period for current students of other grades will be from 27 August.

(2) Non-degree students Chinese language students): 28-29 August

Those who can't register in accordance with the regulations for some reasons must ask for leave of absence from the School of International Education (International Students Office) and their departments (colleges/faculties) in advance. Go through the relevant procedures in accordance with the regulations. For those who fail to report for registration without any reason for more than two weeks, or for those whose leave of absence has not been approved, or those whose leave of absence is overdue while they still fail to report for registration, the School will cancel the registration according to the provisions of the university.

3. Suspension, resuming studies and leave of absence

If a student applies for suspension due to illness or other special reasons, he/she should log in to the DUT Portal and apply for suspension through the module of "International Undergraduate/Postgraduate Student Status Change Application" in time. If he/she is unable to return to school after the suspension period expires at the end of the spring semester of 2023, he/she still needs to apply for suspension. The School of International Education will strictly enforce all kinds of suspensions, and will not accept applications for suspensions due to the epidemic. Students whose academic status is suspended are required to apply for resuming the study before registering.

Students who are unable to register during the registration period should log on to the DUT Portal and apply for a leave of absence through the International Student Leave Request Service. The leave of absence should not exceed one month.

II. Registration materials for new students

All new international students should bring the following materials for on-site registration.

1. Students in degree programs must prepare:

① 1 proof of certified previous academic qualifications (A4 size)

② Original certificates of the previous academic study

③ 1 copy of the transcript of the previous study (size A4)

④ 1 ID photo  (size: 3.5*4.5cm, white background)

⑤ 1 copy of the first page of passport (A4 size)

⑥ Original admission letter

⑦ 1 copy of admission letter (A4 size)

2. International non-degree students must prepare:

① 1 ID photo  (size: 3.5*4.5cm, white background)

② 1 copy of the first page of passport (A4 size)

③ Original admission letter

④ 1 copy of admission letter (A4 size)

3. Visa materials:

① Original admission letter

② Original passport

③ Passport copy: 1 copy each of the first page of the passport (size A4), the valid visa page, and the page of the latest entry stamp.

④ 1 recent 2-inch ID photo with white background

⑤ JW201/ 202

⑥ Physical examination report within six months (the report issued by the overseas medical institution must be certified by the Dalian International Travel Health Care Centre before it can be used).

⑦ Registration form for off-campus accommodation (for off-campus accommodation, you need to go to the police station where you are staying in advance, but you don't need to provide this form for on-campus accommodation).

⑧ Visa fee (400 yuan/800 yuan, depending on the duration)

IV. Teaching arrangements

1. Degree students

(1) Undergraduate students (except undergraduate in the Chinese language major): Classes begin on 4 September for 2023 and 2022 grades (2023 grade is to take the courses offered by the School of International Education; other courses begin on 18 September). Classes begin on 28 August for other grades.

(2) Undergraduate students majoring in Chinese language: Classes begin on 4 September for the 2023 grade and on 28 August for other grades.

(3) Postgraduate students: Classes begin on 4 September.

2. Students of Chinese language

Placement test, 29 August-31 August;

Results announced on 1 September;

Beginning of classes on 4 September.
