In order to encourage outstanding students from all over the world being more positive and motivated for study, also to expand the scale and influence of DUT and improve international students training quality, School of International Education launches the evaluation of the Dalian University of Technology Outstanding International Students Scholarship. Definite matters as follows:

Scholarship categories:

a.     Excellent Study Scholarship is to reward international students for academic excellence and outstanding achievements.

b.    Cultural and Sports Activities Scholarship is to reward those international students who actively participate in cultural or sports activities and achieved outstanding results. Applicants who won prizes at sports or cultural activities can be extra-awarded, according to the prize level and grade.

c.     Practice Activities Scholarship is to reward those international students who actively participate and contribute in community services, social welfare, labor practice and other activities.

d.    International Alumni Scholarship is to reward those international students who initiate at-school and already graduated students to contact DUT, feedback information, organize domestic alumni associations.

Application time: April 21 (Thursday), 2016 till 3 p.m. of April 28 (Thursday), 2016.

Application criteria:

a. International Chinese language student, inter-school exchange student, undergraduate, postgraduate or Ph.D. students who have already studied at DUT at least for one academic semester or above.

b. Last semester had a good study attitude, total absence (including sick leave, leave for personal affairs and absenteeism) is not more than 20 academic hours; did not violate China laws or DUT regulations; no disciplinary measures were taken; tuition fee and accommodation fee were paid on time.

Application procedure:

International students who meet the application criteria of the Scholarship should fill in the “ Dalian University of Technology Dalian City Government Scholarship Application Form”, submit the electronic edition to sie_youxiu@163.com and the paper one to the SIE 131 Students Affairs Office.

Students who apply for the Excellent Study Scholarship should provide academic transcripts for the past semester.

Students who apply for the Cultural and Sports Activities Scholarship should provide arts, sports or cultural activities certificates of honor within recent one year.
