You will work as a volunteer to serve as an interviewee at this oral proficiency training workshop. Teachers at this work shop are learning a new method of measuring a speaker’s ability to speak a foreign language. You, the volunteer interviewees, could take this free chance to explore your oral speaking skill, also, make it possible for the Chinese teachers to receive this very important practice.
What is the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI)
The ACTFL （American Council on the of Foreign Language）Oral Proficiency Interview, or OPI, is a live, 20-30 minute telephone conversation between a certified ACTFL tester and the candidate. It is a valid and reliable test that measures how well a person speaks a language.
