慧聚神州智，创启未来潮。为展示来华留学优秀学术成果，引导国际学生聚焦国际学术前沿动态，提高学术创新意识和学术表达能力，促进各国青年研究学者之间的交流互鉴，搭建跨区域、跨学科的全国性留学生学术交流平台，“跨域融合·创新共生”首届全国国际研究生学术论坛暨第四届 “学在大工”大连理工大学中外研究生学术论坛拟于2025年10月在大连举办。

一、活动组织

      主办单位：辽宁省教育国际交流协会

      承办单位：大连理工大学

二、时间地点

      时间：10月29日-11月1日，为期4天（29日下午报到、30-31日论坛、1日离会）。

      地点：大连理工大学主校区（辽宁省大连市甘井子区凌工路2号）

三、活动内容

      论坛设置四个分论坛：

      分论坛一：智能计算与数据科学方向

      分论坛二：机械、建筑、材料、能源方向

      分论坛三：化工、环境、生物方向

      分论坛四：人文社科方向

      活动主要包括以下环节：

1.国际学生指导教师专题报告：聚焦国际学生如何开展科学研究、国际学生学术能力提升。

2.国际学生学术报告：设置四个分论坛，邀请各高校国际学生代表，分享个人研究进展和成果。

3.国际学生学术墙报展：学生投稿，择优选取，统一制作，统一展览。

4.国际学生专题学术沙龙：分组研讨，为学术思想碰撞和交流创造条件。

5.“感知大连”城市文化实践行：体验大连现代城市风貌，参观高新技术企业。（视情况安排）

四、对象与规模

      面向国内高校在籍留学生征稿，总人数不超过50人。

六、活动报名

      1. 投稿论文摘要，语言为英文；

      2. 投稿论文摘要应准确、具体、完整地概括亮点或创新之处，具有原创性、科学性、规范性和可读性，包括关键词4-8个；稿件英文题目一般不超过40个字符；

      3. 投稿至本次论坛的摘要仅用于制作摘要集，供参会人员交流；

      4.投稿需提交报名表及论文摘要电子版（模板另附），通过邮件发送，邮件名设为：学术论坛+高校名+国籍+姓名+摘要题目。投稿截止日期：9月30日17：00。

      5.学校将根据报名学生申请表和投稿论文进行选拔。报名成功并被选拔参会的学生，将以电话或邮件形式通知论文录用，未被录用的学生不再另行通知。

To showcase outstanding academic achievements of international students in China, guide them to focus on cutting-edge global research developments, enhance their innovative thinking and academic communication skills, and foster cross-regional exchanges among young scholars worldwide, the 1st National International Graduate Academic Forum and the 4th "Study at DUT" International Graduate Academic Forum for Chinese and Foreign Graduate Students of Dalian University of Technology will be held in Dalian in October 2025. This initiative aims to establish a national platform for academic exchange that bridges disciplines and regions.

I. Event organization

II. Time and venue

Time: October 29th-November 1st, for 4 days (registration on the afternoon of October 29th, forum on October 30th and 31st, and departure on October 1st).

Venue: Main campus of Dalian University of Technology (No.2 Linggong Road, Ganjingzi District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province)

III. Contents of the event

The forum consists of four sub-forums:

Sub-forum 1: Intelligent computing and data science

Sub-forum 2: Machinery, Architecture, Materials, and Energy

Sub-forum 3: Chemical, environmental, and biological Engineering

Sub-forum 4: Humanities and Social Sciences

The activities mainly include the following parts:

1. Special seminar for international students’ supervisors: Focus on how international students carry out scientific research and improve their academic ability.

2. Academic seminar for international students: Four sub-forums will be set up to invite representatives of international students from various universities to share their research progress and achievements.

3. Academic Poster Exhibition for International Students: Students submit their papers, select the best ones, and make and exhibit them uniformly.

4. Academic Salon for International Students: Group discussion to create conditions for academic cooperation and exchange.

5. "Perceiving Dalian" city culture experiencing activity: experience the modern urban landscape of Dalian and visit high-tech enterprises. (Depending on the forum progress)

Currently enrolled international students from all domestic universities are welcome to apply.

VI. Sign up for the event

1. Submit the abstract of the paper in English.

2. The abstract of the submitted paper should accurately, specifically, and completely summarize the highlights or innovations, with originality, scientific features, standardization, and readability, including 4-8 keywords; the English title of the manuscript is generally not more than 40 words.

3. The abstracts submitted to this forum are only used to make the abstract collection for participants to exchange.

4. The electronic version of the application form and abstract (scan the QRcode to download the form) should be submitted by email with the subject pattern: Academic Forum + University Name + Nationality + Name + Abstract Title.

The deadline for submission is 17:00 on September 30.

5. DUT will select the shortlisted students according to the application form and submitted papers. Students (estimated number of 50) who have successfully been selected for the forum will be notified of the acceptance of their papers by phone or email. In contrast, those who are not accepted will not be notified separately.

VII. Other matters

Participants shall pay for their own transportation, accommodation, and meals between cities and during the event. Dalian University of Technology will book the hotel.
