On the afternoon of November 24, the launch meeting for the graduation thesis work for the undergraduates of Chinese Language major who are graduating in the year of 2024 was held at the School of International Education, where Teacher Guo Hanning, the head of Chinese Language major, and all the thesis supervisors involved attended.

At the meeting, Teacher Guo Hanning introduced the work schedule and detailed the purpose and significance of the thesis work, interpreting the policy of Dalian University of Technology Graduation Thesis (Project) Work Regulation, as well as the Dalian University of Technology 2024 Graduation Thesis Work Requirements and Implementation Plan. In addition, the format and specifications of the thesis templates, the Task Statement filling requirements were also clarified. Meanwhile, it was emphasized that thesis supervisors were responsible for the thesis work, who are required to conduct strict control on the thesis quality, and prohibit all academic misconduct or academic fraud.

Graduation thesis is an important teaching link for the training of international undergraduates to achieve the graduation requirements and program goals. The Chinese Language Teaching and Research Office has always been attaching great importance to the graduation thesis work, by specially offering academic writing courses and standardizing thesis writing and thesis guidance, to achieve strict control on the quality of graduation thesis. In the future, the Chinese Language Teaching and Research Section will stick to the guideline of training quality, and continue to strengthen academic support and graduation thesis process management, to improve the quality of international students training.
