The first China Graduate International Chinese Education Case Competition has concluded. A total of 1,460 teams registered for the competition, with 1,403 teams submitting valid entries, and 152 teams winning awards. After fierce competition, three teams from the International Education College of our university received awards, showcasing the achievements of our university in cultivating practical talents in international Chinese education.
In the new technology track, the "Yangguang Xiaodui" team, led by instructor Du Fang and captain Meng Liuna, won the national third prize with their case titled "Application of the Superstar Platform in Chinese Topic Communication Courses in the Digital Context." The "Zhuanye Tuandui" team, jointly guided by instructors Yang Liang and Zhao Lijun, with captain Jiang Yuhan, also won the national third prize with their case "Empowering Chinese Reading and Writing Courses with Multiple Intelligence Games." In the new application track, the "Laoshi Zuo De Dui Bu Dui" team, jointly guided by instructors Guo Hanning and Wang Jiatian, with captain Tan Pu, won the national third prize with their case "The Ups and Downs of Overseas Acupuncture Teaching."



The Master's degree program in International Chinese Education at our university has established a comprehensive, multi-dimensional, and full-process practical ability training system, covering four modules: observation, internship, cultural communication practice, and competition-based training. Through various training sessions such as classroom observation, teaching assistance, lesson presentation and evaluation, and trial teaching, as well as brand practical activities like the "Yulan Cup" Chinese Teaching Skills Competition and "Qiwei Classroom," and the construction of cross-regional and cross-institutional practice bases, the program comprehensively enhances students' overall practical abilities.
The China Graduate International Chinese Education Case Competition adheres to the philosophy of "Standards Lead Practice, Chinese Embraces the World," aiming to promote the development and innovation of international Chinese teaching cases and cultivate top talents for the internationalization of Chinese education. The outstanding achievements of our students in this competition fully demonstrate the effectiveness of the Master's program in International Chinese Education at Dalian University of Technology, enhancing and expanding our university's influence in the field of international Chinese education. In the future, the International Education College will continue to align with national development strategies, further advance the diversification of international Chinese education, Chinese culture, and national conditions teaching, and integrate the cultivation of Chinese and foreign students who can tell China’s stories well and spread China’s voice with disciplinary construction. This will continuously improve the quality of international Chinese teacher training at our university and contribute to the "Double First-Class" initiative and the international development of the university.
