In January 2025, the 6th International Chinese Education Micro-Course Competition successfully concluded. This competition was jointly organized by Beijing Normal University, Dalian University of Foreign Languages, Tianjin University of Technology and Education, and Tang Chinese. It attracted over 240 individual participants and more than 120 teams (comprising nearly 700 team members), who submitted a total of over 1,300 entries covering themes such as Professional Chinese, TANG Chinese, Chinese National Conditions, and Regional Culture. After intense competition in both the preliminary and final rounds, our faculty and students excelled in multiple categories, highlighting the university’s achievements in innovation and practice in international Chinese education. Additionally, our institution was awarded the "Best Organizational Unit Award" for its outstanding performance in organizing the competition.
In the teacher demonstration course track, Ms. Gao Jing's "Language Point: Shi... De" won the "Digital Teaching Navigation Award (Special Prize)," Ms. Song Lihua's "The Path to the Imperial Examination in the Song Dynasty" received the "Digital Teaching Pioneer Award (First Prize)," and Ms. Ma Ying's "Chinese Paper Cutting" was awarded the "Digital Teaching Excellence Award (Excellence)."

In the team track, the group project "Chinese + Modern Logistics," guided by Doc.Wang Jiatian and involving Gao Yuhuan, Jiang Yuhan, Meng Lisha, Zhang Huimei, Zeng Yufen, and Liu Hui, was awarded the "Exceptional Digital Course Award (Second Prize)."

In the individual works track, Ma Yangyang (Class of 2023) won the "Gold Digital Course Award (Special Prize)" for "Appreciating Ethnic Integration from the Shenyang Imperial Palace," Ouyang Lu received the "Outstanding Digital Course Award (First Prize)" for "Jiangyong Nüshu of Hunan," Tan Pu's "The Spirit of Shanxi Merchants in the Wang Family Compound" and Guo Jiaxin's "Chinese Seal Carving Art: Within a Square Inch" were awarded the "Exceptional Digital Course Award (Second Prize)," Gai Hefang's "The Hidden Gem of Dong Village: Exploring the Architectural Treasures of Southeast Guizhou" and Zhang Zhongzi's "Guangzong Willow Weaving: A Civilization Woven Stroke by Stroke" received the "Rising Star Digital Course Award (Third Prize)," and Liu Hui's "China Through the Belt and Road Initiative" was honored with the "Excellent Digital Course Award (Excellence)." Additionally, our institute's teachers, Du Fang and Guo Hanning, were awarded the "Best Instructor Award."

The achievements in this micro-lecture competition reflect the effectiveness of our school’s efforts in teaching innovation and practice in the field of international Chinese education. In the future, the college will rely on the "Three Excellences" plan to continuously strengthen the integrated and mutually reinforcing cycle of "teaching, learning, research, and competition." This will further enhance the teaching innovation capabilities of both faculty and students, promoting a deeper integration of our school's international Chinese education with the mission of effectively telling China’s story.
