SIE Holds Mobilization Meeting for “2nd China Graduate International Chinese Education Case Competition”

“2nd China Graduate International Chinese Education Case Competition” is scheduled to commence in July. In order to stimulate students' enthusiasm for participating in the competition, enhance their understanding of the requirements and encourage them to fully devote themselves to the preparation process, Practice Center of Master majoring in International Chinese Education at SIE (hereinafter referred to as “Practice Center”) hosted a mobilization meeting on May 30th in Room B111, Haichuan Building. The meeting, organized by Teacher Wang Jiatian, the director of Practice Center, attract all first-year and second-year master students majoring in International Chinese Education. Assistant Dean Guo Hanning and Academic Affairs Officer Tian Siyu of SIE were also invited to attend the meeting.



At the beginning, Teacher Wang Jiatian outlined the contest’s arrangements and basic requirements. Jiang Yuhan and Meng Liuna, Third Prize winners from the inaugural competition, shared their Participation experiences. They presented their team’s case studies, highlighted innovative techniques in their award-winning submissions and shared their competition journey. Jiang encouraged prospective participants: "The preparation process involves challenges and uncertainties. Attendees should maintain a positive mindset, avoid excessive focus on outcomes and treat the competition as a platform for professional growth."



Director Wang then detailed the official guidelines for the 2nd competition, explaining its theme, competition categories, competition eligibility, team formation rules, and submission requirements. His analysis clarified key regulations for attendees.


Master's Degree Program in International Chinese Education at DUT has established a comprehensive practical training system encompassing noviciate, internships, Cultural dissemination practice and competition-based learning. In the 1st China Graduate International Chinese Education Case Competition, three teams won Third Prizes. This mobilization meeting aims to boost student participating in the coming competition. The college reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing the cultivation quality of international Chinese teacher, supporting students’ professional development and aspiring to achieve new successes in the upcoming competition.
