On the afternoon of July 4, 2025, the Closing Ceremony of the Chinese Language Training Center for the Spring 2025 Semester was successfully held in Classroom 104 of the Graduate Teaching Building at Dalian University of Technology. Present at the ceremony were Professor Duan Yuping, Dean of the School of International Education, all teachers from the Chinese Language Training Center, and all Chinese language students. The ceremony was hosted by Ms. Song Peng, Director of the Chinese Language Training Center.
The ceremony kicked off with a meticulously produced video. The video captured wonderful moments of students in classroom learning, cultural experiences, and extracurricular activities, vividly demonstrating their growth and rich experiences throughout the semester, creating a warm and touching atmosphere on site.
Next, Professor Duan Yuping, Dean of the School of International Education, delivered a speech. On behalf of the school, Dean Duan extended warm congratulations to the students who had successfully completed their studies and sincere thanks to the teachers for their hard work. He fully affirmed the students' remarkable progress in language proficiency and cross-cultural understanding, and encouraged them to take this learning experience as a starting point for a new stage of life, continue to deepen their study of Chinese language and culture, actively engage in international exchange undertakings, and strive to become bridges and bonds for friendly exchanges between China and foreign countries.
Subsequently, NGOC NHU Y LE, a Vietnamese student from the Preparatory Program, spoke as a student representative. Having successfully completed her preparatory studies at our university and been admitted to the bachelor program of Finance with excellent grades, she affectionately recalled the details of her study and life and shared her insights during the process of adaptation, integration, and growth, and expressed her gratitude to the teachers and reluctance to part with her classmates. She said she would cherish the time spent in the Preparatory Program and take it as motivation to move forward.
Ms. Yuan Yuan, the teacher representative, also delivered a speech at the ceremony. She reviewed the classroom time and learning journey spent with the students, praised their persistence and enthusiasm in language learning, and advised all students to keep pursuing excellence in the broader world, stay true to their original aspirations, and bravely pursue their dreams.
At the closing ceremony, an award ceremony for the "Full Attendance Award" was also held. Professor Duan Yuping, Dean of the School of International Education, presented certificates of honor to the students who won the Full Attendance Award for the Spring 2025 Semester. A total of 45 students received this honor this semester. With their persistent learning spirit, they have injected positive energy into the campus learning atmosphere.
Amid warm applause, the closing ceremony came to a successful end. Teachers and students took group photos to record this fulfilling and meaningful learning journey. This closing ceremony is not only a summary of the learning achievements of the past semester but also an important starting point for the students to move to a new stage. The school sincerely wishes all students a bright future and the realization of their dreams in their future study and life.
