Dalian University of Technology Holds Appointment and Recognition Ceremony for International Student Recruitment Ambassadors
On December 2nd, Dalian University of Technology (DUT) held the Appointment Ceremony for the 2025 International Student Recruitment Ambassadors and the Recognition Ceremony for the Outstanding International Student Recruitment Ambassadors of 2024. The event was attended by Prof. DUAN Yuping, Dean of the School of International Education, Dr. DU Fang, Assistant Dean, all members of the Admissions Office, as well as the International Student Recruitment Ambassadors for both 2024 and 2025.
In his opening address, Prof. DUAN Yuping extended his congratulations to the outstanding ambassadors recognized for their exceptional work in 2024 and offered a warm welcome to the newly appointed members. He emphasized that the recruitment ambassadors serve as a vital bridge between DUT and prospective students worldwide, and are a dynamic representation of the university's cultural and educational strengths. He encouraged the new ambassadors, whether current students or alumni, to share genuine campus life experiences and engage in sincere communication, thereby conveying DUT’s rich academic atmosphere and unique campus charm to a global audience.
The ceremony proceeded with the recognition of the 2024 Outstanding Recruitment Ambassadors, followed by the official appointment of the 2025 cohort. The recognition served as full acknowledgement of the ambassadors' dedicated efforts over the past year, while the new appointments laid a solid talent foundation for the university's next phase of international students recruitment initiatives.

SIZGANOV IAN, one of the outstanding ambassadors for 2024, shared his experience of forming a recruitment presentation team with like-minded peers. Through clear division of tasks and collaborative effort, the team successfully completed various promotional activities. By sharing these practical experiences in building an overseas promotion team, he provided valuable insights for the new ambassadors about to begin their roles. MENNAALLAH AYMAN MAHMOUD AHMED KABEEL, representative of the 2025 new ambassadors, expressed her commitment to actively promoting the university's admission policies and academic strengths with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility. She stated that by adopting an integrated approach combining online platforms and offline events," she would proactively participate in various international education promotion activities, strive to build cross - cultural communication bridges, and contribute to attracting more outstanding international students to DUT for their academic pursuits.

Follow the ceremony, the Admissions Office conducted a specialized training session for the newly appointed ambassadors. The training focused on key areas such as interpreting international student admission policies, formulating promotion strategies, and enhancing communication skills, providing systematic and professional guidance to equip the new ambassadors for effective work in their upcoming roles.

The formation of this new team of International Student Recruitment Ambassadors will further broaden DUT's channels for international exchange and effectively enhance the university's visibility and influence overseas.
