On March 18th, Li Hongjin, Secretary of the General Party Branch, and Fu Qiong, Dean of the School of Chinese Studies at Dalian University of Foreign Languages, visited School of International Education for research and exchange. The leadership team of the School of International Education and the heads of relevant departments attended the symposium.

Duan Yuping extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the School of Chinese Studies at Dalian University of Foreign Languages. He briefly introduced the development history of our university's international student programs and the progress of the college's various initiatives in recent years. Secretary Li Hongjin and Dean Fu Qiong expressed their gratitude for the warm reception. They stated their hope to take this exchange as an opportunity to further deepen practical cooperation between the two universities in the field of international education, and to jointly explore new paths for the high-quality development of study-in-China programs.

Subsequently, the two parties exchanged information regarding their respective student enrollments, faculty and staff sizes, and organizational structuring. They engaged in in-depth discussions on key issues concerning institutional development, such as recruitment channels, scholarship policies, university-enterprise cooperation, and the development of fully English-taught courses, sharing the valuable experiences of both institutions.

This research and exchange visit has built a valuable communication bridge for the international student programs of both universities, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration. Both sides unanimously agreed to maintain close communication and carry out in-depth cooperation in areas such as teaching resource sharing and joint student training. Together, they aim to build a premier educational brand for studying in China and jointly promote the innovative development of international education for inbound students.
