To enrich the cultural and sports life of faculty and staff, and to enhance their physical well-being and team cohesion, the School of International Education, the Teaching Operation and Support Center and the Dalian University of Technology-Belarusian State University Joint Institute held a faculty and staff fun sports meeting on the afternoon of April 24, 2026. Centered on fun-filled competitions and collaborative progress, this event allowed faculty and staff to enjoy the pleasure of sports in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.

At the beginning of the event, participating faculty members were randomly assigned to teams by drawing red, yellow, or blue wristbands. The three teams were well-prepared and eager to go, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere at the venue. The competition featured six specially designed events: ball-clamping relay, "hoop-around-the-waist" (waist-ring transfer), water pipe ball transfer, fun rope jumping, ball-carrying relay, and hula hoop passing. These games were designed to test team coordination while being highly interactive and inclusive for all participants.

On the field, the faculty members worked in perfect harmony, striving for excellence. In the ball-clamping relay, team members collaborated closely to move steadily while clutching balls between them, overcoming challenges with shared efforts. During the waist-ring transfer, participants displayed agility and coordination as they passed the rings along the line. The water pipe transfer and ball-carrying relay tested everyone’s focus and balance, with participants staying fully engaged to secure a steady victory. The fun rope jumping was fast-paced, with smooth synchronization between the turners and jumpers as the count climbed higher. In the hula hoop passing, team members linked hands and worked tightly together, navigating the hoops and tackling rotation challenges, which showcased their team spirit in full measure. The final rankings for first, second, and third prizes were determined by the total team scores.

This fun sports meeting allowed faculty and staff to relax, relieve stress from their busy work and academic schedules, further bridged the distance between colleagues from different departments, and strengthened their collective sense of belonging and team cohesion. Moving forward, the colleges will continue to promote the development of campus cultural and sports life, conduct a regular series of diverse activities, and remain committed to the physical and mental well-being of all faculty and staff. By leveraging the vitality of these cultural and sports initiatives to empower institutional growth, the colleges aim to inspire all faculty and staff to devote themselves to their work and studies with greater enthusiasm and a more vigorous spirit, working together to promote the high-quality development of the colleges.
