On May 8, a delegation from the College of International Education at Shenyang Normal University visited our college for research and exchange. Participants in the symposium included Dean Duan Yuping, Vice Dean Yi Honglian, Assistant Dean Zhang Yan, and staff members from relevant departments.

Dean Duan Yuping extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the College of International Education of Shenyang Normal University. He provided a detailed overview of our university’s practical experience in the recruitment, cultivation, and management of international students. Additionally, he shared distinctive practices regarding the Quality Accreditation for Higher Education in China and the development of digital and intelligent courses.

Zhang Wei, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Liaoning Education Association for International Exchange and Researcher at the College of International Education of Shenyang Normal University, spoke highly of the educational achievements and management experience of the College of International Education at Dalian University of Technology. He introduced the overall state of international student affairs at Shenyang Normal University and expressed a sincere hope that both institutions would deepen exchanges and expand cooperation in fields such as international education and International Chinese Language Education.

During the symposium, both parties engaged in an in-depth exchange of views on practical challenges, including recruitment promotion, on-campus cultivation, curriculum and major development, and quality accreditation, while sharing work experiences and innovative ideas. Following the meeting, the delegation conducted an on-site visit to the international student apartments to inspect the living facilities and achievements in cultural development.

This exchange symposium established a valuable communication platform for the management of international student education between the two universities. Both parties expressed their commitment to using this visit as a catalyst to further strengthen collaboration and mutual learning. By working together to enhance the quality of education and management standards, both institutions aim to contribute to the high-quality development of the "Study in China" initiative in the new era.
