为切实落实校园安全管理相关工作要求，压实宿舍安全管理责任，排查消除住宿安全隐患，强化国际学生安全防范意识，营造安全文明、整洁有序的住宿环境，2026年9月8日，学院全体辅导员深入校内学生宿舍，面向全体校内住宿学生开展宿舍安全专项检查暨安全教育宣贯工作。

检查过程中，辅导员分组逐间走访学生寝室，坚持隐患排查与安全教育同步开展。重点排查宿舍消防安全、用电安全相关风险，仔细查看是否存在违规电器使用、私拉乱接插排、易燃杂物堆放等问题，对检查中发现的隐患问题现场指出，督促学生及时整改到位。

走访期间，辅导员结合宿舍实际情况，面向学生开展面对面安全宣贯。重点讲解防火安全注意事项，提醒同学们提高消防安全警惕，自觉杜绝各类危险用火用电行为，做到人走断电，防范火灾风险。同时向国际学生重申宿舍住宿文明守则，对内务卫生、公共秩序、宿舍文明行为等方面作出提示引导，倡导同学们自觉遵守学校住宿管理规定，养成良好住宿习惯，共同维护宿舍集体生活环境。老师们还与国际学生亲切交流，了解同学们在校住宿的实际生活情况，倾听学生诉求，做好沟通与人文关怀，做到管理与服务并重。

    此次宿舍安全检查，既是一次全面的隐患排查行动，也是一堂走进宿舍的实景安全教育课。下一步，国际教育学院将持续落实宿舍常态化巡查机制，把安全宣传教育融入日常学生管理工作，不断强化国际学生的安全意识与规则意识，切实筑牢校园住宿安全屏障，为广大国际学生在校学习生活保驾护航。

Build a Solid Safety Line and Safeguard Overseas Studies

—School of International Education Carries Out Special Safety Inspection of International Students’ Dormitories

To earnestly implement the campus safety management requirements, consolidate dormitory safety management responsibilities, identify and eliminate potential residential safety hazards, strengthen international students’ awareness of risk prevention, and create a safe, civilized, neat and orderly living environment, all advisors of SIE went deep into on‑campus student dormitories on September 8, 2026, conducting a special dormitory safety inspection together with safety education publicity for all on‑campus boarding students.

During the inspection, advisors visited dorm rooms in groups. Hazard screening and safety education were carried out simultaneously. They focused on checking risks related to fire safety and electricity safety in dormitories, carefully inspecting for illegal electrical appliances, disorderly extension‑cord connections and piled‑up flammable materials. Any hidden dangers identified during the inspection were pointed out on the spot, and students were urged to make rectifications in a timely manner.

While visiting dormitories, advisors delivered face‑to‑face safety education tailored to real‑life dormitory conditions. They emphasized key fire‑safety precautions, reminding students to stay alert to fire risks, refrain from dangerous fire‑using and electricity‑using behaviours, and cut off power when leaving rooms to prevent fire hazards. Meanwhile, they restated the dormitory codes of conduct for international students, offering guidance on indoor sanitation, public order and civilized dormitory behaviour. Students were encouraged to abide by campus accommodation regulations, develop good living habits and jointly maintain a positive collective living environment in dormitories. Advisors also had cordial conversations with international students to learn about their real‑life accommodation experience on campus, listen to their needs, provide communication support and humanistic care, and balance management with student services.

This dormitory safety inspection serves not only as a comprehensive hazard‑elimination campaign but also as an on‑site safety education session held right in student dormitories. Going forward, the School of International Education will continue to implement regular dormitory inspection mechanisms, integrate safety publicity and education into day‑to‑day student administration, further enhance international students’ safety awareness and awareness of rules, effectively build a solid safety barrier for on‑campus accommodation, and provide a sound guarantee for international students’ study and life at university.
