9月13日下午，伴随着凉爽的秋风，国际教育学院2026年秋季学期新生素质拓展活动在七七足球场举行。来自德国、意大利、荷兰、白俄罗斯、泰国、巴基斯坦等62个国家的近300名国际新生参加活动，国际教育学院学生事务办公室、学生辅导员、第二课堂教师及专业素拓教练全程组织。
本次素质拓展活动以帮助学生适应在华留学生活、创造跨文化交流机会为主要目标。活动在热身破冰中拉开序幕，新生们通过自我介绍和小组游戏迅速打消陌生感，建立团队信任与友谊。随后，同学们跨国籍自由组队，通过确定队名、选举队长、唱出队歌等方式展示团队特色和风采。在持续3小时的各类团队项目中，大家沟通交流、分工协作、明确目标，既有竞技比拼，也有惊喜小奖品，现场气氛热烈。各国同学在绿茵场上尽情挥洒汗水，感受团队协作的魅力，体会个人在集体中的责任，领悟合作共赢的重要性。
素质拓展是国际教育学院开学季系列活动之一，自2023年开展以来已持续8届，已成为学院每学期固定开展的品牌活动，纳入国际本科生第二课堂课程体系。活动通过团队建设的生动形式，培养了国际学生的合作精神和集体意识，助益来华留学生更快融入校园环境和留学生活。
多样化的入学互动体验活动，让国际学生亲身感受到校园和城市的开放与包容。未来，国际教育学院将继续深化“留学大工”国情与实践教育品牌，以更生动的实践、更前沿的视角，搭建连接世界与中国的教育桥梁。期待2026年秋季学期新生更好适应来华留学生活，不断超越自我，成长为具备扎实语言能力、跨文化交际能力、思辨能力和中国情怀、世界眼光的国际化复合型人才。
International Education College Holds Successful Quality Development Activity for New Students in the Fall 2026 Semester
On the afternoon of September 13, accompanied by the cool autumn breeze, the International Education College's Fall 2026 New Student Quality Development Activity was held at the Qiqi Football Field. Nearly 300 international freshmen from 62 countries, including Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belarus, Thailand, and Pakistan, participated in the activity. Staff from the International Education College Student Affairs Office, student counselors, second-classroom teachers, and professional quality development coaches organized the event throughout.
This quality development activity aimed to help students adapt to studying and living in China and to create opportunities for cross-cultural exchange. The event kicked off with ice-breaking warm-up activities. Through self-introductions and group games, the freshmen quickly dispelled unfamiliarity and built team trust and friendship. Subsequently, students freely formed teams across nationalities and showcased their team characteristics and style by deciding on team names, electing team captains, and singing team songs. During the various team projects that lasted three hours, everyone communicated, divided tasks, collaborated, and clarified goals. There were both competitive contests and surprise small prizes, and the atmosphere was lively. Students from various countries shed sweat freely on the green field, experienced the charm of teamwork, understood personal responsibility within the collective, and grasped the importance of win-win cooperation.
Quality development is one of the series of activities during the opening season of the International Education College. Since it was launched in 2023, it has continued for eight sessions and has become a fixed brand activity held by the college each semester, incorporated into the second-classroom curriculum system for international undergraduates. Through the vivid form of team building, the activity cultivates international students' spirit of cooperation and collective awareness, helping international students integrate more quickly into the campus environment and study life in China.
Diverse enrollment interaction experiences allow international students to personally feel the openness and inclusiveness of the campus and the city. In the future, the International Education College will continue to deepen the "Study at DUT" national conditions and practice education brand, and build an educational bridge connecting the world and China with more vivid practice and more cutting-edge perspectives. It is hoped that the freshmen of the Fall 2026 semester will better adapt to their study life in China, continuously surpass themselves, and grow into internationalized composite talents with solid language ability, cross-cultural communication ability, critical thinking ability, Chinese sentiments, and a global perspective.
