Management of graduation gowns is an important matter, and in an effort to allow students to borrow them without trouble and use them responsibly, we have established the following rules：

      1.      Limits of use:

      Use of the graduation gowns is limited to degree recipients, the dean, the head of the degree review committee and other members present at the thesis defense; the robes may be worn for the diploma ceremony, graduation ceremony, as well as the graduation activities hosted by the school. 

      2.      Standard of use:

      The gowns must be worn in the manner in accordance with the State Council article on “Standards for Graduation Gowns”.

      3.      Details for borrowing

      a)      Time of use: June 12^th and 13^th  from 2-4pm

      b)     Time of return: June 26^th and 27^th from 2-4pm

      c)      Location for borrowing and returning: Dormitory 2, Room 241

      d)     Security deposit: 100RMB per set

      4.      Details for using

      a)      Please respect and care for the graduation gowns, and ensure that they remain clean. Please wear the gowns in accordance with the above-stated article.

      b)     You must have your valid student ID with you when you borrow the gowns; you must borrow and return the robes at the appointed times (including the cap, tassel, robe, sash, cord).

      c)      Please inspect the gown when you receive it, and if there are any problems, they must be reported to the office in a timely fashion, otherwise you will be held responsible.

      d)     Your gown will be inspected when you return it to the office, to ensure that there are no issues with it. Once the inspection is over, you may leave.

      e)      If the gown gets damaged, the person borrowing it must pay a compensation fee of 50 RMB; if the gown is lost, your security deposit will not be returned.

      f)      You must not lend your gown to anyone else; you must not act in a manner that belittles the image of the school.

     g)      If you do not return the gown on time, your security deposit will not be returned.

     5.      Purchase of the gown:

     a)      If you wish to purchase a graduation gown, you may apply to do so at the school.
