Chinese Language Training Programs
Introduction
The Chinese Language Learning Programs, part of DUT’ s commitment to internationalization, offers diversified courses meeting different needs of all international students. Offering both language courses and culture courses centered on practical language skills and knowledge, the programs draw on the expertise of the instructors and staff. Students can choose to study for one level or to complete all the levels continuously.

Class type
Placement teaching: students are divided into six levels of teaching according to their Chinese levels.
Small class teaching: class size of no more than 15 people.
schedule:
Chinese courses: morning from Monday to Friday, 20-24 class-hours/ week
Elective courses: afternoons from Monday to Friday, 2-10 class-hours/ week
Featured activities
Language practices: international students Chinese speech contest, Chinese talent show and language practical activities with grade features.
Cultural practices: regional cultural study (spring/ autumn), campus carnival (spring), international cultural festival (autumn), sports (spring), other club activities.
Special cultural tours: tourist exploration activities in china (the first week after the end of the semester, organized by the Institute, voluntary participation and at your own expense).

Application Qualification
1. Non-Chinese citizen
2. Age between 18 to 60 years old and in good health
* Applicant under age 18 must have a guardian who lives in Dalian.
Application Procedures

2. Upload the following documents in the online application system, one photo and passport copy.
3. Applicants once admitted, the Admission Notice, the Application for Entry Form (JW202) and Physical Examination Form will be sent to the enrolled applicants, who could apply for an entry visa to China by presenting the above-mentioned documents, personal passports and the Physical Examination Records to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their respective countries.
