At the request of a majority of candidates, HanKao international will conduct the Chinese Proficiency Exams HSK and HSKK on home networks on February 27th to resolve some issues that are being encountered by some candidates studying in mainland China and applying for scholarships. For those who are interested in applying for the home online test, please read the following requirements carefully:

I 、For the candidates

1. I am currently in mainland China, and in urgent need of HSK and HSKK certificate for graduation and further education;

2. My school has not resumed the HSK and HSKK examinations, or I am unable to attend regular HSK and HSKK examination at the test centers that have resumed normal examination.

II、 Please confirm that the equipment and test environment meet the requirements before registration ;

1. The computer on which the candidates use for the exam is required to have windows (7 / 10) operating system installed. The test system does not support running under Mac OS operating system, and it is not recommended to use a Mac computer; The screen resolution must be 1366 * 768 or above; the test cannot be conducted on mobile devices such as cell phones and tablets;

2. The network bandwidth should be 20m and the network speed should reach 150KB / s or more;

3. Computer camera (computer's own or external camera): High definition (more than 300000 pixels), there should be sufficient light in the room, and the camera should be clear;

4. A mobile phone with a camera is to be used as an auxiliary invigilator, the "Tianyi cloud conference" (天翼云会议) software should have already been downloaded on the phone.

Enter the designated meeting room one hour before the examination, and place the mobile phone 1m on the left rear or right rear position, so that the examiner can see the computer screen and the candidate;

The examiner should have a 360-degree view of the examination environment of each candidate through the "Tianyi cloud conference" software;

Candidates need to link their mobile phones to Wi-Fi network and turn on "flight mode";

Camera phones need to have sufficient power to ensure that they do not turn off during the entire exam process.

5. Earphone: the sound should be clear and the earphone should have good sound insulation.  

For HSKK candidates, headphones need to be equipped with a microphone; the sound should be clear; sound insulation effect and radio reception need to be good.

6. Examination environment: the exam must be done alone, in a safe and closed room with no interference. It is prohibited for candidates to sit the exam in parks, Internet cafes, restaurants and other open spaces. Computers, keyboards and other equipments required for the examination must be placed on the desk. During the examination, no one is allowed to enter or leave the room, and no prohibited items are allowed in the examination room. If the exam regulations are violated, the examination result will be invalid.

7. Transnational registration is not allowed, for example: Candidates who apply for the at home online examination in mainland China, must be in mainland China on the day of the examination.

Please be sure to confirm whether you meet the above conditions before registering. If you find that you do not meet requirements pertaining to the environment, equipment and various conditions for the online examination after registration, the examination fee will not be refunded.

Attention:

(1) There is no need to use written notes in the home network examination, and using other items such as paper and electronic devices to copy and record the questions during the examination is strictly prohibited;

(2) In order to ensure that the test is conducted safely, Hankao international or third-party Chinese test center may need to collect information regarding the test from you, this includes: your name, photo, certificate information, monitoring audio and video records during the examination. We will only collect and use these types of personal information to the extent permitted by the law and when necessary for the legitimate business purposes of Hankao International, (such as maintaining the security of the examination).

III、 Registration and payment

1. Log in to Chinese test service network select online registration and payment. When registering candidates who are in mainland China should choose mainland China – Beijing – Xicheng – Special examination (domestic).

Exam date: February 27th, 2021 (Beijing time)

2. Exam Levels

Chinese Proficiency exam HSK Level 3, 4, 5, 6

Chinese Proficiency exam HSKK Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced

3. Examination format

The candidates have to use their personal computers to log in to client terminal of the online Chinese test system to answer the exam questions. The entire examination process will be supervised by a designated invigilator in real time.

4. Registration fee

The home online examination (special session) will be supervised by the designated invigilator on a one-to-one basis, therefore the examination time and registration fee are as follows:

Note: Performance report and analysis will be mailed directly to the candidates.

5. 10 days after the HSK test and 25 days after the HSKK test, the candidates can log in to the Chinese test service network（）, enter the number and name on their exam admission ticket to check their results.

6. Report delivery

When the candidates sign up for the exam, they must register the mailing information, so that their performance report and analysis will be mailed directly to their address in mainland China at a cost of 60 RMB.
