In accordance with the Measures for the Administration of the Dalian University of Technology Presidential Scholarship for International Students (Document No. [2025]9), and following the first-round public announcement, collection of feedback, verification by relevant departments, and approval by the SIE Executive Meeting, we hereby announce the second-round proposed dynamic adjustment results for the 2026 DUT Presidential Scholarship.
The purpose of this round of announcement is to remind affected students to make preparations before the start of the next academic year, including arranging fees and planning their further study in China. Since the grades for some courses in this semester have not yet been released, and some courses have make-up examinations scheduled for the next semester, the current list remains a proposed list, not the final one. The final list will be announced and implemented in September 2026.
Policy explanations for the dynamic adjustment:
1. For students proposed for an upgrade from self-funded to partial scholarship, the partial‑scholarship coverage will include tuition fees only, excluding accommodation, insurance, and living allowance.
2. For students who are on the proposed downgrade list due to failing courses this semester (i.e., those whose serial numbers do bear an asterisk “*” in the list), if they can clear all failed courses through the make‑up examinations in September 2026, they will be removed from the list.
3. For students proposed for a downgrade from full scholarship to partial scholarship, the partial scholarship coverage will include tuition fees only, excluding accommodation, insurance, and living allowance.
4. For students who have been confirmed to be downgraded from partial scholarship to self‑funded (i.e., those whose serial numbers do not bear an asterisk “*” in the list), please prepare all fees in accordance with the applicable fee standards in advance and pay the full amount within the two weeks before the start of the next semester.
Please download the attachment to view the full lists of proposed upgrades and downgrades.
Deadline for public feedback: 17:00, July 17, 2026.
If you have any objection to the announced results, please submit your concerns in writing to the Student Affairs Office of the School of International Education (Room D120, Haichuan Building) or send an email to siesuggestion@dlut.edu.cn. All feedback must be factual and signed with your real name.
