Introduction
The Chinese Language Training Program, part of DUT's commitment to internationalization, offers diversified courses meeting the different needs of all international students. The center offers three levels and seven tiers of courses ranging from beginner to advanced, including comprehensive classes, oral communication, listening, reading, writing, culture, classical Chinese, business Chinese, calligraphy, paper-cutting, and other required and elective courses. Students may complete a single tier in one session or progress through the levels sequentially. The program commences in March and September each year, with each semester lasting 16 weeks. students with a basic knowledge of Chinesecan transfer at any time.
General Requirements
1. Non-Chinese citizens
2. In good physical and mental health, aged 16 to 60
3. High school diploma or equivalent
Application Materials
1. Applicant
Scanned copy of the first page of the passport and any blank visa pages:The passport must be valid beyond September 2026.
2. Proof of highest academic degree/Certificate of Enrollment:
If issued in a language other than English, an English or Chinese translation must be provided.
3. Academic transcripts:
Transcripts corresponding to the level of education indicated in the degree certificate or proof of enrollment. If you have previously studied or are currently studying in China, please also upload a proof of enrollment or certificate of completion.
Note: If the documents are in a language other than English, a notarized English or Chinese translation must be provided.
4. Certificate of No Criminal Record:
Valid for 6 months. If you are unable to provide this during the application stage, you may sign the “Declaration of No Criminal Record” in the attachment as a temporary substitute.

Review and Admission
Upon receipt of the submitted materials, the School of International Education will conduct a review. After review and admission, the university will send an electronic admission letter and visa application form to all admitted students.
