On December 7, the award ceremony of Excellent Test Points in the International Chinese Language Examination was held at the National Convention Center, and the BSU Confucius Institute won the 2023 HSK Excellent Test Site. This recognition was selected by Chinese Testing International Co,.Ltd from 1374 test centers around the world based on the number of candidates, test management level, marketing ability, and event organizing ability. As one of the 73 outstanding HSK test centers in the world, with 13 years of experience in test management, a growing number of candidates throughout the year, and complete classroom facilities, the BSU Confucius Institute is deeply honored to receive this recognition.
BSU Confucius Institute was founded on July 5, 2006, it is the first Confucius Institute in Belarus and was named "Global Advanced Confucius Institute" in 2011. In 2016, it was approved to build a model Confucius Institute. In 2019, it was awarded the title of "Model Confucius Institute" and is currently one of the largest Confucius Institutes in the world. Since taking the HSK written exam, HSK oral exam, and YCT exam in 2010, we have taken 23 HSK written and HSK oral exams, as well as 13 YCT exams for 13 consecutive years. With a total of 2259 candidates for HSK written test and 1066 candidates for HSKK speaking test, there are 312 candidates for YCT. In 2023, there were 323 candidates taking the written test for the Chinese proficiency test at the BSU Confucius Institute test site, and 265 candidates taking the oral test. With the merger of the HSK written test and HSKK oral test, the number of candidates taking the international Chinese oral test has tripled compared to the same period last year, and it is expected that the number will continue to increase.
As an experienced international Chinese test center and a member of the service Chinese proficiency test, BSU Confucius Institute has complete facilities, complete voice classrooms, perfect electronic equipment, orderly test management, strict implementation of Chinese Testing International’s rules and regulations, the main invigilator has carried out test training many times before the test, and provided good service to candidates on the test day. Strictly maintain the order of the examination room, help candidates deal with emergencies, all the examination staff’s conscientious service attitude has been praised by the candidates. I believe that the BSU Confucius Institute will continue to respond to the increasing number of people taking the Chinese proficiency test and play a greater and more positive role in promoting the Chinese proficiency test.
