On March 26, 2024, Dalian University of Technology International Chinese Teacher Scholarship Seminar was successfully held in the Language Department of Belarusian State University. At the invitation of the Language Department of BSU Confucius Institute, this lecture was specially held for the freshmen and sophomores majoring in Chinese in the Language Department. The scholarship promotion meeting adopted a combination of “online” and “offline” methods, led by Khmelnytsky, Deputy Director of the Language Department and Director of the Chinese Language and Literature Teaching and Research Office at Peking University（ Хмельницкий Николай Николаевич）.
Liu Suring, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute for Chinese Studies of the Republic of Belarus State University (offline), Du Fang, Assistant Dean of the School of International Education of Dalian University of Technology (online), and Feng Lu, director of the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship Program of the School of International Education of Dalian University of Technology (online) attended the seminar.
At the lecture, Dean Liu Suling explained in Russian the types of funding, application conditions, registration process and required materials for the students in detail. Ms. Du Fang carefully prepared slides in both Chinese and Byelorussian, showing students the learning environment, accommodation conditions and campus appearance of Dalian University of Technology. Miss Feng Lu encourages the students to sign up actively. The students majoring in Chinese in the Department of Languages of BSU Confucius Institute listened attentively to the introduction of the scholarship. After the explanation, Dean Liu Suling and Professor Khmelnytsky answered the questions of interest to the students in detail.
