On September 26, “My Dream and China” recitation competition of DUT Confucius Institute scholars sponsored by Confucius Institute Office, School of International Education, was officially held in the afternoon.
A total of 17 Confucius Institute scholars submitted essays to “My Dream and China” competition. Guo Xiaoyu, Vice Dean of School of International Education, made an opening speech in which the significant contributions made by Confucius Institute to strengthening cultural exchanges between China and other countries was highly praised. She encouraged students to study hard, carry on the purpose of Confucius Institute and become the envoy of sino-foreign friendship.
In competition, all contestants spoke in vivid voice, from different perspectives and in fluent Chinese to introduce their colorful study and life abroad and share international students’ Chinese Dream with others.
Belarusian student Nikita and Wen Ya had an edge over the others and won the first prize finally.
