In order to help students learn about the recruitment program for international Chinese volunteer lecturers and make the charms of the Chinese culture notable around the world, 2021 recruitment forum for international Chinese volunteer lecturers was held at 10:30 am on June 21 in Conference Room D107 of the School of International Education. This forum was hosted by Ms. Liang Yang, Deputy Director of the Management Office of the Confucius Institute under the School of International Education. The postgraduates majored in Chinese International Education at the classes of 2019 and 2020 of the School of International Education were present in this forum.
Above all, Ms. Yang briefed students on the general facts of the Confucius Institute of Sinology of Belarusian State University, including its scale, geographical location, courses offered, scientific research and cultural activities, and the position requirements for international Chinese volunteer lecturers. Furthermore, Ms. Yang illustrated details on several aspects pertaining to the recruitment program, including target applicants, length of time employed, application conditions, selection process, selection examinations, dispatch time, salary and benefits, and preferential treatment for returning to China upon the expiry of employment contract. Finally, Ms. Yang provided the students with more in-depth explanation on the information mentioned above in Q&A session. At the end of the forum, Ms. Yang encouraged the students to practically perfect their own Multilingual skills abroad and explore the possibilities in life further.
Apart from deepening the students' understanding of the recruitment program for International Chinese volunteer lecturers, this forum stirred up their enthusiasm for actively participating in the cause of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and provided students with good employment opportunities to open up a new path for their future development. After the forum, students who were interested in the recruitment program had further consultations with lecturers from the Management Office of the Confucius Institute.
