On July 17, the "2021 Selection Interview for International Chinese Volunteer Lecturers" was successfully held at the School of International Education via Tencent Meeting online, with a total of 19 students from 14 universities including Nankai University (NKU), the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), Sichuan University (SCU), Chongqing University (CQU), Liaoning University (LNU), and Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) present in this interview.
Consisting of three sections including evaluation of the quality of trial lectures and foreign language proficiency, as well as comprehensive Q&A, the interview comprehensively assessed students' comprehensive qualities. The interviewers' rigorous attitude towards the interview was recognized by the interviewees whose performance made a very forceful impression on the interviewers as well. The qualified volunteers would be sent to the Confucius Institute cooperating with our college—the Confucius Institute of Sinology of Belarusian State University.
This is the first time for our school to conduct selection interview for international Chinese volunteer lecturers after the Confucius Institute of Sinology of Belarusian State University being devolved. In the future, our school will further improve the selection system for the examination targeted to the international Chinese volunteer lecturers, attract more high-quality talents to hold teaching positions at the Confucius Institutes overseas whose high-quality and sustainable development will be promoted thereby.
