DUT Foundation Program
Program Introduction
As a non-degree program for undergraduate preparation, this foundation program is intended for the graduates from senior high schools who want to study the undergraduate degree in DUT. The foundation program is divided into two directions, Science & Engineering and Chinese Language & Arts. Relying on the strong faculty resources of Dalian University of Technology, it provides intensive instruction in Chinese language, mathematics, physics, and chemistry. This comprehensive approach enhances students' Chinese proficiency, foundational knowledge in mathematics and science, and professional application skills, laying a solid academic foundation for their undergraduate studies.
Enrollment Target
1. Non-Chinese citizens
2. Aged 17-34 with good physical and mental health
3. Qualified for university application with the graduate diploma of a senior high school
Enrollment Time
Fall semester (one year) : September intake with zero-based Chinese language
Spring semester (one semester) : March intake with HSK-3 or above
Program Advantages
1. Priority for admission to DUT undergraduate programs will be given to those who have passed their China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA) and demonstrated good conduct during their foundation program studies.
2. Students applying for the Foundation Program may qualify for undergraduate tuition discounts: applicants for the undergraduate program of Chinese language will be entitled to a 10% discount off, and applicants for other undergraduate programs will be entitled to a 5% discount off.
3. Students with excellent scores in the test may be entitled to the preferred recommendation to the DUT scholarship undergraduate program.

2. The Certified/Notarized Copy of High School Diploma (Chinese or English Version);
3. Certificate of No-Criminal Conviction;
4. Physical Examination Form (application for one year);
5. Certificate of HSK-3 and above (application for spring semester)

Tuition Fees (CNY)
Enrollment in September(one year program): Tuition fees CNY 28,000 yuan; application fee CNY 800 yuan*
Enrollment in March(one semester program): Tuition fee CNY 15,000 yuan; application fee CNY 800 yuan*
* The application fee will not be returned; applicants who continue with the undergraduate program will be exempted from the application fee for the undergraduate program
