In order to spread the knowledge of fire prevention among students, and enhance the ability to evacuate from a fire, Boliu Dormitory Fire Rehearsal will be held on October 28th (Friday), 2016. Now publishing the notice as follows:

1.  Date and Time October 28th (Friday), 2016-14：00

2.  Location Boliu Dormitory building 2, Dalian University of Technology

3.  Participants teachers and students of SIE, staffs of Boliu Dormitory, staffs of Yingkang property management company, the teachers of fire department.

4.  Evacuation Rehearsal Plan

Assumed Situation: there is a fire on the third floor in Boliu dormitory building 2.

Part A: Emergency Evacuation

1)  When Students notice a fire, the property staff and dormitory administers press the alarm with yelling “fire, run out” immediately.

2)  Then people evacuate from the dormitory with a wet towel and keep a rapid march from a guided way to the designated place.

3)  At the same time the dormitory guard cut off the electricity gate and Security officers report the affair to the security office of DUT and supervisors.

4)  Then Boliu dormitory manager and property company manager come to the scene and start to extinguish the fire with Fire extinguishing equipment.

Part B: Fire Prevention Knowledge

The teachers of fire department will explain knowledge about the safety management and emergency measures of a fire.

NOTE：

1.Please follow the staff and evacuate ONLY through stairs;

2.There will be no electricity in Dorm 2 from 13:30 to 15:30 on the rehearsal day, please get ready.
