From August 28th to September 1st, the international students of the Class of 2023 began their life and study in DUT.
This year is the first time after the pandemic that we have an offline orientation. School of International Education warmheartedly helped the new students in completing the procedures of information collection, accommodation application, insurance purchase, tuition fee payment, registration, and some other procedures. Orientation materials were also distributed to help the students to adapt to campus life.
From September 4th to 12th, a series of theme activities including a campus tour, icebreaking games, and academic guidance, will be arranged too, for the students to get used to campus life.
DUT has been receiving international students since 1956. We firmly adhere to the opening-up strategy and concentrate on educating international talents who are willing to take the social responsibilities and understand Chinese culture. Up to now, DUT has more than 10 thousand international students from more than 110 countries.
