Dalian University of Technology is located in Dalian High-tech Park, surrounded by colleges and universities. Among them, the Northeast University of Finance and Economics, which is jointly constructed by the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education and Liaoning Province, and Dalian Maritime University, which is directly under the Ministry of Transportation, are adjacent to DUT, so that students of the universities interact closely with each other and learn from each other, and different styles of schools complement each other's strengths and weaknesses. All three universities are full of trees and vigor, which makes the University of Technology in beautiful Dalian in the natural and academic environment brightly independent.
Convenient transportation and shopping
There are four main gates to DUT, all of which are accessible by public transportation:
South Gate (Main Gate): To the east is the 533 Lingshui Road Station;
West Gate: at the intersection is 406 Road Polytechnic University Station and about 100 meters to the west is 10 Road Lingshui Town Station.
East Gate: walking north about 50 meters is the terminal station of Road 23, the
North Gate: under the Dagong Bridge is No. 901 Xinxin Hotel Station, 100 meters further west is No. 3 Xinxin Plaza Station, and 100 meters east is No. 26 Dagong Road Station.
Although the school is not in the city center, it has a very convenient shopping environment.
There are Wal-Mart and Hualian Supermarkets to the east and west of the school respectively (about 2km away from the school);
Take the No.10 bus and you can get to the Jinhui Shopping Plaza near NEFCU in 3 stops, where Watson Cinema and Walmart are already located;
Take the 406 bus to the Heishijiao commercial area, there are Dashang New Mart Supermarket, Heishijiao Examination Bookstore, Suning Electric Appliance, and other businesses nearby;
It takes about 30 minutes to reach Xinggong Street, one of the busiest commercial districts in Dalian, by bus No. 10;
About 50 minutes by bus No. 406 or No. 23 can also reach Qingniwa Bridge commercial area, a famous pedestrian street in Dalian (near Dalian Railway Station).
