Dalian Subway was opened in Dalian city, in Northeast China’s Liaoning province, in May 2003, making it the first subway network established in the province. By May 2018, the network consisted of four lines: lines 1, 2, 3 and 12, stretching over 156.4 kilometers and connected by 66 stations.

1. Ticket fare: It varies according to distance. For lines 1 and 2, the charge ranges from 2 yuan ($ 0.29) to 6 yuan. For Line 12, it ranges from 2 yuan to 8 yuan. The highest ticket price is 13 yuan for riding from Yaojia station to Lushun New Port.
