There are two railway stations in Dalian, namely Dalian Railway Station and Dalian North Railway Station.
Dalian Railway Station
As the terminal station of the railway linking Shenyang and Dalian, Dalian Railway Station, which is located in the downtown area, sees high passenger flow. Many rail lines run through the station in all directions nationwide, including express tourist trains from Dalian to Shenyang - Liaodong Peninsula Hao, Golden Pebble Beach Hao, as well as fully air-conditioned high-speed tourist trains from Dalian to Beijing, Changchun, and Harbin.

Dalian North Railway Station
Located in the northern part of the downtown area, Dalian North Railway Station is built to serve the high-speed rail lines of Harbin-Dalian and Dandong-Dalian. Most high-speed trains stop at Dalian North Railway Station. The station is 13.1 kilometers away from the Dalian Railway Station by train and its straight-line distance from the Nanguanling Station is 2.8 kilometers.
